Colorado Muskies Inc. Muskie Lakes Big Creek Lake Big Creek Lake is one of the highest lakes in North America to contain Tiger Muskie. This serene and beautiful lake has large tigers that take advantage of a wide variety of structure and forage. More Info... Gross Reservoir Gross Reservoir is one of the most difficult lakes to access due to its steep shorelines and very limited boating regulations, but it harbors some very big tiger muskies and is well worth a shot if you can fish it effectively. More Info... Horseshoe Reservoir Horseshoe Lake is a small but productive lake located just west of Walsenburg, Colorado. With plenty of forage and structure, this lake is one of our favorites. More Info... Pinewood Pinewood is one of the best lakes to at least see a tiger muskie. Take a walk into fisherman's cove with your polarized shades and you'll see what we mean. This lake has some good sized muskie but as usual they are hard to catch. Plan on persistence being your main vehicle in hooking one of the Pinewood 'skis! More Info... Pueblo Reservoir Pueblo has not been heavily stocked with tiger muskies, but the word on the street is that muskies that have escaped the heavily stocked DeWeese have taken up residency in Pueblo. Not many reports coming out of the lake of tigers being caught, but it's worth a try! More Info... Quincy Reservoir Quincy, a one-time tiger muskie factory, has suffered recently but maintains a good population of large muskie. Located in metro Denver, it is easy access to many fishermen and gets quite busy during the season. The lake only allows boats that can be launched by hand and electric motors. More Info... |
